In a strange turn of events, I ask that you please search "Bob Harris" anywhere in the New England states on CL and feel free to flag away.

sorry you gave that loser money but if he is continually advertising and not delivering work how come a States Attorney isnt investigating this?? The guy seems to continually post fraudulent ads. Seems like an easy case to prove.

goodness...I have seen these as I browse CONUS listings on the daily and been curious at the quality of any of these shops advertising via craigslist...I usually do my own work but if I can save a few bucks by having someone else do it correctly why not...sorry for the trouble with those that have done it...

In the eyes of the law, it all is a civil matter and therefore is handled in civil court. When I asked a similar question to the Littleton Massachusetts PD a while back the response was that the district attorney does not see enough evidence to prosecute on a criminal level....which is simply amazing considering the numerous people who have been in contact with Littleton PD.

It looks like he's been ripping people off in CT because someone on CL put up a bunch of ads about his scamming. Perhaps CT law will be a little less forgiving to the criminal than Mass....

Please flag the new ad for engines as well as the two existing ads selling the Outback.

Don't let some unsuspecting family get caught out by his dishonesty. His "new" engines are all spraybombed and cobbled together.

Am I the only one taking issue with your actions a little?

You didn't get your contract fulfilled. Clearly the install was over his head, or whatever. He's now decided to stop offering install services, and is just selling engines.

You think that because he took your money, it's impossible that he could make good on agreements with other customers? Perhaps if he sold some engines, he could pay you (or his judgement)?

You think you have the right to shut down his other business efforts? Why?

If a company hoses a customer, you think that customer has the right to shut down their business in total?

I think you need to be careful about going too far. You could subject yourself to liability, seriously. He owes you money, and you've gone forward with legal recourse, that's it. You have no right to continue railroad the guys business over it. Post reviews warning people, but flagging ads?

A dirtbag is a dirtbag is a dirtbag, seems to me he's getting what he deserves.

What is "spraybombed"?

Guy has a clearly visible track record of screwing potential customers, I would say flag away, in order to keep it from happening to others. As a concerned consumer, I would ABSOLUTELY do the same.
