ACC power for push-button start
I apologize for the newby question... I am picking up a new-to-me 2016 WRX STI Base. It has keyless access / push-button start. The user manual describes the ACC (accessory) power setting but it's not clear how to turn it on. Do you do a key dance with the remote start fob touching the start/stop button to turn on just accessories power but not the engine, or is there another way? Thanks so much.

The push-button start feature has effectively two positions.
Accessory only: Without your foot depressing the clutch-pedal (or depressing brake pedal if automatic), you press the push-button once to engage the accessory feature. To disengage the accessory feature, press the push-button a second time and then a third and final time to shut-off. Vehicle start: With your foot depressing the clutch-pedal (or depressing the brake pedal if automatic), you press the push-button to start the vehicle. |
