Second Round of Detailing done.. I'll call this one "Nooks and Crannies" Its starting to look the way I have envisioned.. Getting down to it.. Thanks CH.Detailing for the awesome work, as usual Scooby meet tomorrow...Excited to show it off..

Its about a 7.5 on the scale of excellence right now. My de-tailer recommended a front bumper Re-Spray due to the excessive chips.. which makes sense, but I don't want to hurt the value of it being "All Original".. Thoughts???

What car was that alternator cover originally speced for? I feel like I've it, or something similar on some Legacy GTs before. Was it on the JDM STIs originally? Cool OEM+ part nevertheless!

I wouldn't worry about hurting the value of the car by doing a respray of the front bumper, if anything it will probably help al long as it's done right. Now, if you resprayed the whole car to change colors that would be a whole different thing.

I love this car. Although some parts aren't parts I would have chosen, they all flow and flow well. I say go for the bumper respray. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Thanks man.. I have tried to keep it 'consistent' for sure.. It will be coming to close soon as far as getting the car where I want .. 20 years from now I hope its in the same condition as its in now.. I am gathering/collecting parts that have potential to be obsolete from the dealer... Window regulators. hoses, Factory painted parts, AC stuff ...etc.. I am starting to really enjoy it as Subie Meet season is here.. Stay tuned as I have a couple of other 'tricks' up my sleeve... The goal is to get it in as near new condition as I can with a JDM/OEM theme will continue.. Thanks again for the kind words .

What an awesome Car day.. started off with getting My tune finalized... Full SEND MODE now.. 2 step is enabled, Flat foot Shift... 21.5lbs of boost. tapering to 18. He said he was able to add about 15% more timing than most he tunes.. .. Car is STRONG.. Pulls Hard all the way from 1200rpm to Redline with NO DROPOFF.. My tuner was super impressed that it was as strong as it was.. His words, " Damn this thing has some get-up"...hehehehe Met up with the locals..and yes that is a REAL DEAL S209...Badass for sure

Latest Project is getting a new Updated Homelink Mirror working.. I bought one that was from a 08-14 Subaru.. I installed it.. but it doesn't recognize my Garage door as its Brand New and the two are not compatible. New Generation Garage door opener vs. Old Generation Homelink. Everything works on the homelink except the garage door opener feature.. Auto Dimming and Compass Work perfectly. So I got an New mirror that will work with my generation Garage door.. No problem right/?? well the connector that thats on the new mirror doesn't work with old connector. I highly recommend https://www.bobsmirrors.com/ .. they make custom connectors so I can use the new technology for the Homelink so it will work with my new generation Garage Door opener from Liftmaster.
