Well, I certainly see why they released two eps instead of one.

Yeah it's crazy to realize that Ep 1 was just one long cold open for Ep 2.

Just a theory from nerds. It's in a highlight recap video on YT that mentions every easter egg and callback.

I understand it's on me, the viewer, to just not watch any review vids in the the first place, but it seems for these Disney shows the reviewers can't wait to flex their comic knowledge (or other source knowledge) when they go over the episodes.

Granted it's no guarantee any of it will happen in the show but an emptier pallet would be nice for those who don't follow the other stuff.

I've never been a fan of these long form video breakdown/reviews of entertainment media. Much like I don't need a Youtuber's thoughts and commentary about the composition of my cheeseburger, or details on the history of the cow, I'd much rather just enjoy the sandwich for what it is. Maybe, after a series has run its course, I might dig a bit deeper into the lore if it was compelling. Otherwise, I kind of prefer taking it episode by episode and enjoying the ride.

And yeah this Ep pretty much confirms a lot of fan theories including who Geraldine is. So far they're doing a good job weaving in a feeling of terror and existential dread underneath all the sitcom cheese.

For those who didn't noticed, the symbol on Geraldine'S necklace is the same as the logo on the back of beehive man and the colored toy helicopter Wanda found in the 2nd Ep.

Well that was certainly what we needed from the first 2 episodes.

Its almost a horror movie at times.

I like the aspect ratio of each episode so far. Looks like we have two more episodes until we get to HD lol. The show has done very well with using black and white, and then the Brady Bunch color feel. Usually shows drop the ball when trying to recreate it.

I'm most interested in knowing why Wanda is hiding herself in this bubble world of sorts, how it happened, and how SWORD came to be the reason she's protecting herself.

When the neighbors were talking, and almost told Vision what's up, did you get the feeling they are actors? Or are they trapped? Because they were almost scared of whats-her-face when she was inside with Wanda. If they were all SWORD, they wouldn't be so timid.

It seems Wanda took over the town in real life, made a virtual world out of it, and many of the people inside are real residents of the town and are brain washed by Wanda to play their role.

Geraldine was sent in by Sword probably to figure out what the **** is going on, she was able to slip out of the spell for a moment but blew her cover with that comment. Probably because she wasn't fully oriented.

A few of the other characters seem to also becoming self aware, but are afraid of what Wanda will do if she finds out. Hence the scene with the two neighbors and vision at the end.

The video glitch VS a more obvious rewind with vision starting to put things together was a nice touch.

Yeah, and the scene with the doctor and the neighbors gave me huge Twilight Zone vibes from that classic Ep with the creepy kid with the powers to warp reality (later parodied in the Simpsons)

I am thankful that it appears with each episode the amount of time we watch the "fake reality" becomes less and less.

The overly cheesy humor isn't really my thing, I'm guessing by the time we get to the end of the season we'll have almost full episodes dedicated to the real plot.

Geraldine was yeeted and she was wearing her 70s clothes in the "real world".

That means some items Wanda created can exist in the real world. Presumably the kids...and Vision? Will continue to live on outside the bubble?

Wanda's power in the MCU never really matched the ones in the comics so far, but perhaps this series will explain that she actually has the same Hex Magic/Reality Altering power she does in the comics verses just telekinetic and telepathy in the MCU.

I watched the first two over the weekend. I ...don't...get...it.

Usually, one or two episodes will hook viewers but other than some minor reveals it hasn't. I am just watching Bewitched and I love Lucy spoofs. I assume this will open up, but so far it's been 99% silly spoof and 1% substance.

Also Elizabeth Olsen is Gorgeous.

You have to watch the 1st 3 eps to set what's going on

I'll give it one more. But it shouldn't take 90 minutes to hook a viewer.

It's a weird show. I'm okay with that. Episode 3 definitely starts to hit the gas.
