Disconnect from corner brown/yellow wire and see if you get signal in diagnostic mode.

So I'm looking into installing a backup camera on my 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport Limited wagon. I have the OEM HU (CM631UD). Since a lot of posts here are 8 years old with outdated links, is there a general guide or video on how to do this installation? What camera should I buy and what adapters/harnesses do I need? Looking for any advice on how to perform this installation myself.
