methinks this is a psychological hangup you have
OP. we need pics for reference. Can you find a Reliant robin to sit in for the pictures?

I think that thing is hideous.

It would probably fit his giant head though.

And that is whats great about America.

You don't have to die because you have poor taste!

Or is that too much like PP?

I've been trying to find a photo from the auto show maybe half a decade ago. I was in the back of an Acura ZDX (35.3" rear headroom) with my head tilted way over to fit. Said photo is eluding me.

Found it. Not a flattering photo with the angle and neck-fat but goes to show the headroom issue:

These days I just hide the neck fat with a beard instead.

I recently rented a Mimi Countryman. Surprising amount of head room. I'm 6'3" and all torso and it fit me just fine.
The Countryman ticks all your boxes except for the reliability portion. So get two?

How tall are you?

I've got about six inches to spare between the top of my head and the headliner of my 4Runner.

That's the amazing thing. I'm 5' 8". 5' 9" on the life insurance physical but not in reality. I'm just all torso and head.

I looked up my stats on some site that normalized to black and white Army recruit data. Iirc I have the leg length of a 5' 1" recruit, torso from a 6' 1", head from 6' 5" dude. I am a human cartoon character, except I don't think I look that weird in person. (You get used to seeing my knuckles drag on the ground. )

Not quite yellow enough for that even with the Japanese ancestry.

Thinking on this a bit.

That award goes to the Chevy HHR. A PT Cruiser with GM build quality and no option for a fun engine.

A 10 year old Kia minivan.
Nobody cares if the kids destroy it, or you tear out the oil pan trying to get to your ski destination that you should have taken the Land Cruiser to. Spend the rest on gas money towards the Land Cruiser.

You have two kids, there's no such thing as a fun to drive vehicle that fits your needs.
