Impreza WRX Windshield

Name: Jason Ruffin

Make: 2007 WRX Sedan

Mileage: 500 (Had the car 4 days!)

Time Out Of Use: None

Problem And Likely Cause: Windshield is cracked straight down the center under the auto-dimming mirror and home-link system, starting under the rubber molding.

Modifications: 18"Prodive, Injen CAI, Invidia Catback

Submitted For Warranty Work (Yes/No): Yes

Reason Given For Denial: Was told by dealer that it looked like a rock had hit molding and started the crack under the windshield. (In the state of Florida if the crack is bigger than a dollar it will be replaced at no fee.) Was told to use this avenue to have repairs done.

Your Story: Thought I had a bumper to bumper warranty! No matter how it may have or have not gotten cracked, why should I have to go through my insurance company. Have not contacted SOA, but its sad that I only had the car for a few days. After owning 2 Outbacks, 3 WRX's and owning 3 of them at one time, Subaru's service is suspect and I hate say thus will be my last vehicle no matter how good the 08 STI may turn out to look.
