Yeah i would like to get a line hone too as well in my camshaft journals....but if the machinist gets it wrong/ off center angle and points the camshaft off to a slight angle your cam gears will not hold your timing belt in place correctly causeing wear and maybe even cause the belt to protrude out a tiny bit past the camgears. <br />

2 factors will cause u to have hard free hand spin on your camshaft....wear on your camshaft journals or incorrect cam caps mixed up... i wont say incorrect camshaft mix up because its hard to mix up camshafts and u seem pritty switched on...double check cam caps with factory manual or online pics to confirm... also make sure each camshaft have similar amount of oil to perform your test agian
