For me, it only holds for 1-2 sec on a hill, then it will roll back. It allows just enough time to take your foot off the brake pedal and move to the throttle and give gas. Then, it usually takes off smoothly. If you are really quick, then you might just end up rev-ing the car a little before taking off, which sounds fine to me. If you use the e-brake method to hold the car, you will end up with the same result (slighting rev-ing it before releasing the e-brake for take off).

I guess I'm just trying to understand what do you mean by the car would still apply the brakes after you take off. Do you see your brake lights on or something?
nope, but anyone's who decently quick to engage, will notice a small braking sensation.

Most of the time I just want to go from "Fan off" to "Fan on" and I don't want the A/C on. But if you own a GR/GV, you know that the "Auto" function is the first choice on your dial. I find it pretty annoying having to manually turn the A/C off everytime I want to just have the fan blowing.

Thanks!
this is only if you have climate control. if it's turning A/C on right away, then you need to change the vent position to something other than front defrost, OR just manually disable A/C as per the KB.
