It actually only has 2 ingredients.

Sausage and biscuit dough. So basically sausage biscuits.

Brown the sausage up into crumbles and let cool and drain grease.

Take can of biscuit dough and roll it out flat. It takes about 10min of working the dough to get it flat. It's like trying to roll flubber flat. The dough always pulls back or curls up and doesn't want to stay flattened. This is the part that is the PITA.

After getting the dough flat-ish, spread the sausage crumbles evenly on the dough and roll it up in a big log. Hurry, because the dough is constantly contracting. You must be quick!

Wrap it up in plastic or wax paper so the dough won't dry out and put in the fridge to chill a couple of hours.

When ready to eat, slice off quarter-inch thick pieces and arrange on baking sheet. There should be a nice spiral of sausage and dough.

One roll of sausage and 2 cans of dough make 2 logs. So you get to roll out the dough twice!

The brand/type of dough you select and the sausage you pick have a profound impact on the taste.

I've tried dozens of combos over the years. Unfortunately the pre-cooked sausage crumbles I tried were not so good, and the crumbles with bacon bits (which sounded awesome!) ended up being so nasty I couldn't eat them.
