There are courses where the Pars are different, and this allows players to play against them with a common metric to compete against.

AM Tournaments, are you thinking multi-day? There's an allowance to not adjust the hdcps every day, but go with the start. But, and a big but, if they do allow a daily adjustment, it's going to be a shot across the bow to the Sandbaggers that "never shot like this before!" Yeah? Well, your cap is going down tomorrow!

Dean is full of sour grapes because he came up with the old system. It was flawed as the sandbaggers had 15 days before it was adjusted.

I really do see this as a shot against sandbaggers.
