I fall in the camp of people who don't like using Par as a metric; I like using course rating/slope rating (but not in conjunction with Par). Also, it's gonna be a nightmare for when courses set up Am tournaments now that handicaps are updated every day. I don't play in any tournaments (strictly recreational), but I wanna have a talk with my pro on what he thinks of it.
This is a good article

On a lighter/more fun note, my buddy gave me his old TaylorMade RBZ Tour 4 hybrid to replace my broken Cobra one, and I love it, but I'm thinking of picking up the matching 3 hybrid to better fit the gap between my 3 wood and 4 iron. They're cheap!
