Water Injected Blue

If you back off the /MW.HTML, you can see the site.
I found it difficult to get a full description of all the componentry in the kit, even after I joined the group. I am most interested in the progressive rate pump control.

The pump itself looks like the normal one that is in all the E-bay water injection kits, but its pressure rating is higher.

I dissagree with some of the implementation concepts that he covers. But that might be what is required to extract the most from his setup. For example, I think that a well implemented water injection system should be able to be used pre IC w/o risks of pooling or condensation.

If you look at the video, there is no pressure check valve or anything. You have to wait for the pump to build up pressure, and then when it shuts off, it depressurizes and dribbles out. At those low pressures, the drop sizes get huge and you can see it almosts ends in a stream.

This is a cheap DIY system that can get you good results in a large form factor. If you are interested in this kind of app, there is the SMC kit http://wrxhackers.com/alchystuff/, http://www.smcenterprises.com/subaru.htm, and http://www.alkycontrol.com/. Jeff AKA NavyBlueSubaru put together a git and had a go at manufacturing IIRC. I like the progressive controller idea and wish I could implement it on my Aquamist setup. Aquamist is nice, but costly.
