If you have ever seen how thin the rings are and how light the ring tension is on an N/A FB engine you would realize that low a consumption spec is a miracle. Anything over 0w20 will pump past the rings and burn.The compression rings are almost half the height of EJ rings.
All in the name of legislated fuel economy.
