I just had a quick read-through on the VA thread in the General Community forum. Looks like there's no defeat for a/c (and possibly "Auto" mode on the climate control system?) on the VA's. Kinda sucks (and sucks fuel), because I'm the kind that likes to control what kind of air is flowing into the cabin, and how quickly it does so. You don't really
need dehumidified air to keep condensation off the windshield (although I agree that it helps), you just need to keep the windshield above a certain temperature and ensure free-flowing air.
Diggy - could you please confirm the VA constraints with your friend?
