Your Story: I heard a ticking sound coming from my clutch, the ticking sound would stop once I Started using my clutch. The car drove perfectly ok, that ticking sound bothered the crap out of me though. I thought it was a bad throwout bearing so I took it into the dealership. They took it apart and said a couple of my pressure plate forks were bent and put hot spots in my clutch and flywheel. The excess clutch dust got into the thowout bearing which caused it to start making noise. The dearlership replaced the clutch assembly, flywheel and throwout bearing at no cost to me.
